Some folks are grumbling about all the rain we've been getting and all the rain predicted to come. I know. It interferes with a holiday weekend, graduation ceremonies, and other fun activities.
I look at the rain a little differently. The pasture was starting to die. Even the weeds were failing to thrive. I was concerned that I was going to become one of those people feeding cows hay in the summer months. Then the rain came. The grass is becoming increasingly lush. I am one happy person.
No. I don't like floods or tornadoes. But this soaking rain we've been getting has really been a blessing for me. I guess it's all about perspective. Thank you God for the rain!
