I purchased this door hanger a few years ago at the Peanut Butter Festival in Brundidge, Alabama. I don't know the vendor's name but I loved the message.

I am blessed. Really. Truly. Every day. And, maybe, especially on the hard days. This sign reminds me of that simple fact.

Team Spirit Chairs

I'm not sure when I painted my first elephant. I only remember my mind swimming with elephants because I viewed every elephant photo or drawing I could find. This fella is the result. I like him because he's happy (it's easy to be happy when your team wins!) and mighty. But not scary. That's important.
Slowly I started adding a few accents, such as polka dots and stripes. The hardest part? All those coats of red paint. Yes, I use high-quality paint with primer. It doesn't matter. Red just requires many coats of paint. I found this particular shade in the Oops section of a Home Depot. That was a long, long time ago. I don't even know how many gallons I've purchased since them. What can I say? It's the perfect shade of crimson.
