Fish Table

 

This is my favorite kind of table. I repurposed items to make something beautiful!

It began with an oak cabinet door. I went South to deliver some art to a wonderful customer. As we talked, I mentioned that I love to use old cabinet doors for furniture or paintings. She happened to have one and gave it to me.

I added wood to frame it out, then uncovered these beautiful table legs that I'd been saving for just the right time. I bought them years ago at an auction.

The table base color is actually three shades of turquoise. And it had to have a fish because my customer loves fish. There are stripes and polka dots and swirls and triangles and lots and lots of color.
