My Mother bought this sweet little side table a few years ago. It was basic white but she liked the style. She asked me to paint it and, of course, I did.
This is one of the few times I have ever used spray paint on a table. She went to Lowe's and picked out her base color. I used acrylics to add the flowers and shapes. Then I sealed it with Valspar clear coat sealer.
She'd planned to put it on the front porch but decided that it was "too pretty" and would only get messed up. The front porch gets strong afternoon sun and, well, there are dirt dauber's everywhere.
It ended up sitting in the formal living room for a time. After she died, I refused to get rid of it. I'm thankful that I didn't. One day it occurred to me to measure a small area in the foyer that rests between two doors. She had a small table there that she didn't like but could never find anything pretty to put there. This table fits perfectly! She would have loved that this table she chose has a special place to live.
