The sun shines brightly today, seemingly oblivious to the clouds meandering around. We may get rain again this afternoon but in this moment the sun sure feels good coming down.
We have gone from extremely dry conditions to extremely wet. I am thankful for the rain that has made the pasture grass grow. I will deal with the weeds in due time.
I refuse to complain in this moment. It's so tempting to always find fault, isn't it? We complain because it's too dry. We complain because it's too wet. We complain because it's too hot. We complain because it's too cold. We are never satisfied. I wonder if God gets as upset with us as He did with His people as they wandered in the desert for 40 years.
Take time today to see the blessings that abound. Refuse to complain. Enjoy this season. There's always something to be thankful for. Praise God for that.
